An album of mainly English works - selected to highlight the essential character of the unique Wellington Town Hall Norman & Beard organ. Played by Robert Costin, an organist well-known on the New Zealand scene and one with a particular empathy with the special sound and features of the Wellington Town Hall organ. The CD includes some popular organ works, but also features rarely heard outstanding works by Basil Harwood, Heathcote Statham and Edward Elgar.
